Job Description:

• Design and develop test routines for assuring new hardware and firmware implementations meet system architecture specifications
• Run test routines on platforms utilizing all system resources (microprocessor, memory, PCI adapters, etc.)

• Work with design engineers to develop an in-depth understanding of hardware and firmware architecture to build the necessary routines

Pre-requisites:

• Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering with 2 yrs of relevant experience
• Good understanding in computer architecture preferably POWER or RISC
• Programming and debugging skills in C or PERL on Unix/Linux environment
• Knowledge of AIX operating system is a plus
• Familiar with hardware design and microcode

• Good communication skills
