Responsibilties:

• Working in a creative environment, implements the game rules and mechanics in the game levels.
• He/she shapes the game and player experiences throughout the game levels, creates levels, challenges or missions for computer and/or video games using a specific set of programs
• The level designer builds and polishes the level structure and game progression in order to deliver the intended player experiences.

• Working on enemy or Non-player character placement or scripted story events. They may also write high-level code, altering game rules or scoring in a multiplayer game.

Requirements:

• Candidates need to have a Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or Graphic Communication or any other related discipline from a recognize education institution.
• Candidates must be a passionate gamer with a solid video game culture background or experience, including playing and making games.
• Candidates must also have analytical thinking, capacity to quickly understand game design rules, mechanics, balancing concepts and techniques.
• Incumbents need to have the creativity, eg. think outside the box, being able to see things in a different perspective.
• Candidates with scripting/programming knowledge and an existing Level Design Editor (i.e. Radiant, Unreal) is a plus.
• He/she with the knowledge of commonly used algorithms and Math skills in calculus and algebra are welcome to apply.

• Candidate must have good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and presentation skills, must be good in written/spoken English.

Remuneration will be competitive based on experience.
