The Job Requirements are:

• Min ITE or A Level or its equivalent. Diploma holders with strong experience will be considered for senior position.
• At least 3 to 6 months of data centre experience.
• Experience in operating Mainframe, Wintel and/or UNIX systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and maintain levels of service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed and responsible personality, with keen-to-learn working attitude.

• Able to perform 12-hour Shift Work.

Your Job Duties include:

• Operate computer equipment and monitor the online and batch systems’ performance, ensuring service targets are met.
• Create and submit trouble reports on any equipment malfunction.
• To manage day-to-day operations and systems backup.
• To diagnose and document hardware problems, coordinate problem resolution with second level support groups.
• To perform tasks logged in problem management system (ie. creating of tickets for customers and updating of tickets according to status of problems).
• To carry out resource/systems management including usage of appropriate tools in monitoring and controlling of system performance.
• To pro-actively monitor and maintain system components to prevent down time.
• To act as a liaison between customer, suppliers and other technical teams.

• To provide user orientation on hardware, software and network operations as when necessary
