Responsibilities
- Work closely with principals and suppliers on merchandising directions and price points
- Lead the strategic positioning and development of assigned golf brands
- Prepare merchandising budget
- Procurement of merchandise and merchandising mix
- Develop and execute new plans for product launch and product write up for newspapers and magazines
- Responsible for the designated brands’ P&L and marketing calendar
- Work closely with marketing dept to develop annual marketing plans (including product, pricing, promotion, distribution) and manage the brands’ A&P expenditures
- Supervise, train and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets
- Oversee and manage retail staff, shop display and visual merchandising
- Ensure smooth daily operations of retail stores
- Monitor and maintain stock inventory in each retail store
- Generate and prepare analysis reports on our brand performance and market survey on competitors’ brands
- Degree/Diploma with minimum 5 years experience in retail brand management
- Experience in merchandising, inventory control and sales & marketing, preferably in the golf industry
- Strong leadership skills and result oriented
- Possesses initiative, drive, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel as and when required
