Are you a someone with talent for vector graphics and/or animation in Flash?

Do you want to help create the kind of videogames that your hip siblings and cool cousins will want to play?

Do you want to join an exciting start-up trying to change the world of entertainment?

If so, look no further! We at Playtiva are looking to add one or two full-time Flash artists/animators to help us create our videogames. We seek to pay $1,500 to $2,000 per month for this position depending on your work experience.

Here are a few details about us:

• Our mission is to create story-based, online computer games that will appeal to mainstream pop culture; think TV shows like CSI, 24, Heroes and Gray’s Anatomy but as games. We want to take advantage of the interactivity inherent in games to tell stories in new and meaningful ways – be a part of that innovation!

• You will have the opportunity to make an impact on a start-up in need of talented people like you

• We have flexible working hours and a casual dress code

• Our office is located on Jalan Bukit Merah close to Queensway Shopping Centre and IKEA

• We are partially funded by the Singapore government

• Our start-up consists of six full-time and four part-time employees; each and everyone one of us passionate of the things we do at Playtiva!

The candidates we are looking for will ideally have the following characteristics:

• Skill drawing and/or animating in Flash an absolute must – our artists are super talented so our benchmark is very high

• A team player with good communication and project management skills

• A passion and craft for telling stories

• No experience in the videogame industry required
