1. E-Business Manager

As a E-business Manager, you will provide Reed Exhibitions with:

1. Apply technical & business skills to develop appropriate E-business strategies and solutions across the business
2. Improve the web capabilities of our events to harness and increase online revenue, business opportunities and customer experience.
3. Bring strong skills and knowledge to create effective online functionalities in the web space

Responsibilities
• Drive and manage the delivery of the business’ key web and online services. Liaise with IT architecture and support functions to develop relevant policies, standards and procedures.
• Support business units in defining and implementing new E-business strategies and maintain related projects, including the enhancement of the web platform for the Asia business.
• Provide expertise with the setup of communities around our markets and develop CRM / sales systems to support business growth while maintaining existing systems.
• Research and document online services; work with stakeholders to create opportunities for new online revenues.
• Identify business requirements for upkeep of Content Management Systems (CMS); develop and maintain existing or new CMS to ensure deliverability, accessibility and effective user navigation of the presented published pages.
• Develop and maintain specific business unit web-based applications; relevant databases and ASP / .NET pages on the web.

Requirements
• Recognised or professional IT qualifications
• Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in web development with a solid understanding of CSS and a sound understanding of Windows based system architecture
• Proven hands-on experience on Programming Languages like Visual Basic, HTML, ASP, .NET, XML, JavaScript, SQL
• Detailed, meticulous with good conceptual and analytical skills on usability, design and accessibility of applications, software development or related projects
• Demonstrated commercial and business acumen; demonstrated ability to identify, facilitate resolution of issues, risks and change requests
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Database Modeling, construction and management experience; equip with security awareness in the development of Web Based applications
• Demonstrated ability to engage in the business, to build relations and a great team player who is able work well within a team and autonomously
• Excellent verbal reasoning , communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide leadership and directions to non reports; able to think laterally, out of the box and provide innovative solutions.

Advantageous to have:
• 3 to 4 years’ IT management experience with a technical demonstrated background in IT infrastructure, application development, website construction or databases
• Experience in Dream Weaver and Content Management Systems such as Red Dot.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server configuration & administration
• Development experience in VB and C#.

Location: Changi Business Park
Salary max to $5.6k above
