Responsibilities:

• The role involves the design of everything from web pages through to business cards.
• Reporting to the Software Development Team Leader and liaise with Java programmers.

• Leading projects and mentoring staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Multimedia or equivalent tertiary education in graphic art/web development
• At least 4 years in a similar role.
• Ability to work in HTML, CSS, Javascript using tools such as Dreamweaver.
• Strong Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator and Flash skills.
• Ability to provide prototypes during development of ideas
• Ability to provide finished page templates to Development team
• Appreciation and understanding of software development methodologies.
• Preparation of functional design documents and program specifications.
• Experience with multiple software development methodologies desirable.
• Must be able to show previous work online with a minimum of 5 URL’s.
• Self motivated with strong sense of ownership.
• Knowledge and experience of Macromedia Flash and Actionscript, Java or PHP would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Must possess strong artistic flair and the ability to transform this using various software tools. Must be able to create graphics for web sites as well as design to not only pre-defined layouts but create new designs as well.
• Must be either Singapore Citizen or permanent resident.
