Media Track Pte Ltd is looking for a kick-ass web developer to join our family of passionate nerds. You will be part of a crazy operation to develop the upgrade of a formidable web-application used by thousands of clients.
You must have knowledge, experience and a passion for the following:
- HTML
- PHP
- CSS
- JavaScript
- JQuery (yup, we think like you do)
- MySQL
You should have at least experimented with the following:
- FTP software
- Hosting control panels (e.g. cPanel, Plesk etc)
- SSH
- Cron
- Windows, Macintosh and Linux
- Content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal etc)
We prefer that you have at least:
- Built 10 web-based sites/applications in your career
- Worked with a team and not killed a team mate
- Not been to a terrorist training camp
The opportunities beyond the web application include:
- Experimenting with scalable applications by working with load-balancing tech team
- Managing outsourced iOS development
- User experience testing
- Statistical analysts tools
- Developing in-house social media initiatives
We develop in a Mac and Linux environment and only use Microsoft Windows for the purpose of testing our applications with Internet Explorer. If you are a Windows user however, we'd be delighted to rescue you from the dark side; you just need a positive attitude.
